HOW IT WORKS

How ONESCANAWAY works

One scan opens a page with the information you choose to share.

A little band. A clear way to connect.

The idea in one line

  1. Band
  2. Scan
  3. Page
  4. Call

Your child wears the band. Anyone can scan it with a phone. They see only what you decided to show, and can contact you straight away.

A SIMPLE START

For families

  1. Get your band

  2. Activate it and create your account

  3. Build your child's page

  4. Wear it and update it anytime

Activate my band

A CLEAR NEXT STEP

For whoever finds the child

  1. Scan the band or QR code with a phone camera.

  2. Read the page: how to help and who to call.

  3. Call the contact number.

If the child is in danger or you cannot reach anyone, call 999 or 112.

WHAT THE PAGE CAN SHOW

What information can be shared?

You choose what is shown.

  • First name only.

  • One photo, stored privately.

  • Up to 3 people a finder can call. The first one shown is “Call first”.

  • How my child communicates, what calms my child and what overwhelms my child.

  • Free text up to 500 characters, shown last, with ideas to help you write it.

Example controls only - changes here are not saved or shared.

Two simple ways to open the page

Tap (NFC)

Hold the band to the back of a phone.

Scan (QR)

Point the phone camera at the QR code.

If the phone doesn't respond to a tap, use the QR code. The NFC chip has been tested and is read by Android phones and iPhones. Most recent smartphones read it with a tap.

STAY IN CONTROL

Stay in control

Update the page anytime. Pause the band. Delete everything whenever you like.
